through my lens

I wanted to share two photographs with you today. I took both of them this weekend in the park where I walk the dog. It is landscaped very simply, but it is always filled with small surprises.

The first photograph simply reflects autumn's effect on nature. The second is nature's reflection.

Because you always seem to use a stock photo in your posts, I was beginning to wonder if you even knew how to work a camera. It appears now that you do. And very well too!

Babs -- Glad you liked them.

Wayne -- I was won over by Michael Dickson's graphics. But, I notice that he has also been using more of his own photographs. And I have a hard disc full of options I have shot. I am going to start using them more often.

Very nice. Keep the photos coming.

Brenda -- Thanks. The photographs are a nice relief from some of my recent ramblings.

Very nice pictures Steve. I love the red of the leaves. You don't ramble, you always make sense.

I'm often dumbfounded by Nature's ability to create simple abstraction... not to mention her magnificent eye for color :)

Thanks, Gloria. The color in the leaves was unique on my walk.

Aighmeigh -- More Nature, and less politics. I think we will all be better for it.

So what will the colors of your blog be this time next year? I have noticed the Fall colors so pronounced in your recent postings ...
