dog horrors
A friend in Salem posted this yesterday, and I could not resist. Though it probably violates at least twelve of the Unwritten Rules of the Republic of Blog.
But there is no denying the humor. Its spirit is pure Gary Larson. Anthropomorphized animals. Incomplete punchlines that leave it to the reader to complete. The type of writing that made the early Frasier a television anomaly.
I think it was Garfield (the cat, not the president) who said he liked Old Yeller because he loved movies with happy endings.
Of course, if my chief critic, Professor Jiggs, were still alive, this would undoubtedly be his reaction. He was a tough audience.
