“Your blog has been deleted.”
That was the notice I received when I tried to open Mexpatriate on my arrival at Los Angeles International Airport.
Something must happened while I was in Dubai -- or in the air.
”Suspicious activity” said the notice. Even Hemingway’s prose was more forthcoming.
Commie spies? Islamic terrorists? Angry tour guides?
We will never know. But I now know what the staff at The News of the World must have felt when the Murdochs swept in and locked the doors.
Well, other than the fact that I don't work for the Murdochs. I work for no one other than you, faithful readers.
For now, at least, Mexpatriate is up and running. And soon to be publishing from Melaque.

I've been having some weird thing happening off and on the last week or so, hopefully they will fix it......

Where we suspect you will continue to amuse us.
I knew the problem had to be more wide spread than my little blog. Blogger has a full section on what to do if your blog is inadvertently deleted. Making it sounds as if Google is an innocent bystander.
Suspicious -- and, I hope, questionable.
I had a similar experience last week. I could not access my blog, nor could anyone view it. But I was able to solve the problem quickly. This is a reminder to all of us bloggers to back up our blogs.

Interesting. Not working in their original said manner here either, slow and hard to log on ... but apparently lot's of updates available...
It will be interesting to see if other problems develop.

I had to log in to access the Edit function of my blog—not too unusual in itself— but Google pressed me to register a phone number, which I would not do. It took a while to dismiss the "invitation".

I had a similar experience. To obtain a reactivation code, Google wanted both my telephone number and my old password.
