A friend was talking with me the other day about his favorite television program: CSI.
He may have planted the idea. But I think this may be more than my imagination.
Doesn't the photograph look as if CSI is filming a homicide episode in my back yard?
What I want to know is what type of body would leave an outline like that? And did it fall out of the coconut tree?
I doubt I will be producing any television programs in the near future.

My guess: that is an impression of a sleeping iguana that fell out of the palm tree. It does happen.
Francisco
Sure looks like a crime scene to me, boy! Someone must have removed the yellow police tape. . .
I'd say a monkey was assassinated right out of his tree. Shot down in innocence. Life can be so cruel.
As the tide rolls in, ( sounds like lyrics to some 40's song) it leaves behind traces of sediment....would be my feeble attempt at forensics...
How much fermented maguey juice was shared?
Yes, Steve. And the crime lab people should be out any moment, snapping pictures, checking fluids, swabbing mouths, checking fingerprints, and giving you the third degree in terse Joe Friday interrogatives.
What's next? News that you and King Edward are first cousins and you are going back to England to live with the Queen as is your birthright?
A Nony Moose
Steve, I do believe your tree sprung a leak in the night.
Francisco -- Truly a night of the iguana.
Mexican Trailrunner -- Wildlife homicide appears to be a popular theory.
Constantino -- Close. It is actually the drainiage off of the palm tree during one of our recent storms. Very SEDIMENTal.
Another Judy -- The mind runs rampant here on the coast without the need of artificial stimulants. Though, I must admit, many of of my fellow coast dwellers are not strangers to Demon Rum.
ANM -- Have you been peeking at Coming Attractions?
Joe -- There is an obvious retort hiding there, but my tongue remains bitten.
That's it, that's it! Joe S has nailed it.
So to speak.
After a long week of watching nothing but horror flicks with the kids and in keeping with the spirit of Halloween, I would like to suggest your palm tree has been visited by a creature known as Mothman. Judging from yesterday's picture, your little tropical paradise is becoming the center of some mysterious incidents involving paranormal phenomena.
It might have been the Creature from the Black Lagoon. Now I do believe that is an old movie. Have a great week. Don't forget to go see Mr. Jiggs at my blog. Take care.
Mexican Trailrunner -- So true.
Lady Toronto -- A nice Halloween conspiracy.
Gloria -- Great theory. And thank you for you inclusion of Jiggs on your altar.
